JIC Instrument Enclosures: 6" X 6" to 18" X 16"

  • All VJ enclosures were designed to meet the Joint Industrial Council (JIC) standards in the United States.
  • Enclosures are maintenance free and corrosion resistant.
  • Bases and covers are made from hot compression molded halogen free, self extinguishing fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) that can withstand continuous temperatures from -58°F to 302°F (-50°C to 150°C) and momentary exposure to temperatures up to 392°F (200°C).
  • All enclosures can be easily modified to customer specifications.
  • Gaskets are made from continuously poured polyurethane foam.
  • Molded on mounting flanges increase strength. Corner ribs reinforce strength in the cover corners.
  • VJ and RVJ enclosures are designed for use as electrical junction boxes in highly corrosive environments and provide protection for equipment and operators from indirect electrical contact.

Modular Enclosures: 7" X 6" to 24" X 24"

  • Enclosures are maintenance free and corrosion resistant.
  • Bases and covers are made from hot compression molded halogen free, self extinguishing fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) that can withstand continuous temperatures up to 158°F (70°C) and momentary exposure to 302°F (150°C).
  • All enclosures can be easily modified to customer specifications.
  • Gaskets are made from continuously poured polyurethane foam.
  • Brass M4 threaded inserts are factory installed for mounting plate attachment.
  • 4 to 6 bosses suitable for M6 threaded inserts are molded into the base (dependant on enclosure size).
  • APO enclosures are designed for use as insulated electrical junction boxes, terminal wiring boxes, instrument housings and electrical control enclosures in highly corrosive environments.

  • Enclosures are maintenance free and corrosion resistant.
  • Bases and covers are made from hot compression molded halogen free, self extinguishing fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) that can withstand continuous temperatures from -58°F to 302°F (-50°C to 150°C) and momentary exposure to 392°F (200°C).
  • 4 threaded studs are molded in for attachment of mounting plates and frames.

  • “CT” covers are made from polycarbonate that can withstand continuous temperatures from -13°F to +104°F (-25°C to +40°C).

VMS Series

Polycarbonate Modular Enclosures: 12" X 8" to "24" X 16"

  • Enclosures are maintenance free and corrosion resistant.
  • Bases and covers are constructed of polycarbonate that can withstand continuous temperatures -4°F to 176°F (-20°C to 80°C) and momentary exposure to 293°F (145°C).
  • Cover screw holes in corners are outside of the gasketed area.
  • Continuous gaskets made of polyurethane foam guarantee optimal integrity.
  • All enclosures can be easily modified to customer specifications.
  • The basic design incorporates removable side walls for easy access and wiring.
  • Vertical keys sunk into the corner shafts eliminate nuts, bolts and coupling frames and save time.
  • End plates with or without openings are snapped on from the outside and fixed by means of vertical keys.
  • The VMS Series enclosures are designed for use with panelboards, motor control centers and electronic instrumentation requiring high impact strength.


SERIES 55

Small Junction Box Enclosures: 4" X 4" to 8" X 6"

  • Bases and covers are constructed of thermoplastic high impact polyphenylene oxide.
  • Cover screw holes in corners are outside of the gasketed area.
  • Continuous gaskets made of polyurethane foam guarantee optimal integrity.
  • Designated PG knockouts facilitate conduit entry and coupling.
  • The Series 55 enclosures are designed for use as electrical junction boxes, electronic housings, push button stations and many other applications for indoor and outdoor use.

4 Inch Junction Box: 4" X 4"

  • Enclosures are maintenance free and corrosion resistant.
  • Bases and covers are constructed of thermoplastic that can withstand continuous temperatures 23°F to 140°F (-5°C to 60°C).
  • Resitant to 1202°F (650°C) incandescent wire.
  • Designated PG holes with flexible glands facilitate wire and cable entry.
  • The Flex-O-Box enclosures are designed for use as electrical junction boxes for indoor and outdoor use.


pedestals-series

Outdoor Pedestal Enclosures: 13" X 17" to 44" X 56"

Features
The Pedestal Series range in size from from 13" x 17" to 44" x 56" with varying depths, 7 sizes and a variety of configurations.
Housing is manufactured from hot compression molded Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester (FRP).
Pedestals are designed for the connection of underground cables for distribution to several customers from the same cabinet.
Bases are partly buried into the ground for secure mounting.
On some models the burial foot and above ground structure is molded as one part.
Pedestals feature removable front covers for easy access.
Temperature resistance: -51°F to 225°F (-35°C to 125°C).

Applications
Excellent for use in power distribution for service entrance cabinets or cable splice / junction boxes and cable television distribution (CATV). Can also be used for 19" racking systems.
Suitable for applications in telecommunications (fiber optics or electronics), traffic signal controls, utility metering and distribution compartments (gas, water and power) and public lighting (street lights, parking lots, tennis courts, etc...). Recreational applications include marinas, campgrounds, marketplace power outlets and underground sprinkler systems
